• Eastern Steel Carry Out Industrial Vaccination Program

    As the new wave of Covid-19 epidemics outbreak, the number of confirmed cases in Malaysia is increasing exponentially. In order to protect the health of employees, Eastern Steel Sdn. Bhd. has registered for the Program Imunisasi Industri COVID-19 Kerjasama Awam-Swasta (PIKAS) which conducted by Ministry of International Trade and Industry, Ministry of Health and other relevant government departments. As the result, Eastern Steel is appointed as one of the first industrial vaccination centre for carrying out the industrial vaccination program in Terengganu.

    The vaccination program was officially launched at Lion Plate Mills Sdn. Bhd.. From July 6 to 10, total 1686 people which included employees of Eastern Steel and outsourced contractor were received the first dose Covid-19 vaccine, and the second dose of Covid-19 vaccine will be completed by the end of the month. The vaccination is expected to build the herd immunity. Even the vaccines are short in supply during these days, but our employees still able to receive vaccine as soon as possible within the quick response of company. Beside received the praise from employees, Eastern Steel has also become a model for local enterprise and enhance the company reputation and image.
